(1) The Union Civil War Draft Registrations Records of 1863 show George still living in Cooper County. His occupation was still listed as clerk. George married Mary Harris on 20 September 1863. After George died, Mary lived with her father in Pittsville in Johnson County, MO.

(3) John enlisted in the 31st Regiment of the Missouri Militia on 13 September 1862. However, military records say that he moved out of state on 01 November 1862. John died in 1872 and is buried in the Blockton cemetery in Taylor County, Iowa.

Before moving to Missouri, John and his family lived in Green County, Wisconsin for several years after buying land there from the federal government on 01 August 1848. His name was listed on the land patent as John Wesley Golliday.
